Since my pony days I have been taking lessons with Sabine Egbers several times a week.
In these almost 15 years we have become a super team!
I especially like the professional and at the same time loving way in which our horses are trained and cared for!

With Wolfgang and Sabine I not only found my horse, but also trainers who helped me with my young horse from dressage horse A to series changes. In addition to great, motivating lessons for rider and horse, I was able to blindly entrust my horse to the Vechtehof team during a several-month professional stay abroad. From vet, farrier and physio to daily training, handwork and free jumping - there is simply no better and more carefree care.
I am really looking forward to coming back to Germany and going to training camp with Wolfgang before I take my "pony" home again. Then I will continue my training with Janet and stay loyal to Team Vechtehof in Hamburg. I would like to thank Wolfgang and Sabine and the whole Team Vechtehof for taking such great care of me and my horse... and maybe one day it will be time to buy a tailcoat after all...!

I am a Dutch FEI Grand Prix rider and run my own dressage stable in the north/east of the Netherlands. Here I am involved in training young horses up to Grand Prix and I give many lessons. Since 2022 I have been following lessons at the Vechtehof with Wolfgang Egbers. Wolfgang's training sessions really appeal to me. He works form relaxation and thinks well about the qualities and possibilities of the horse. Everything revolves around the refinement of the aids, as dressage riding is meant to be.

Since I am taught by Sabine like Wolfgang and I actively take part in tournaments, I particularly like the fact that teaching is done from different perspectives. On the one hand with the focus on the targeted development of the basics in the training of rider and horse and on the other hand with the perspective on the correct riding of lessons as the end result of the right training.
I ride different horses in the training sessions and can take great ideas for the next horse from every training session with one horse. So I don't see the individual riding lesson as a separate unit for just this one horse, but the training with different horses is intertwined.
Through this intensive training, my horses and I have developed to a level of performance that I would not have expected so quickly. Just great!
