Wolfgang Egbers was born 1961 in Nordhorn and firstly passed his exam as
wholesaler and export merchant. He then absolved an over two years
apprenticeship with the focus on riding at Reinhard Köppener’s yard in Hoya.

After he had passed his exam, Wolfgang worked for Günther Festerling in Munich and got prepared for his master certification in equestrian management 1985, which he passed brilliantly.

Since 1986 Wolfgang Egbers works independently at the “Vechtehof” in Haftenkamp. Besides his skills in riding and his master in equestrian management, Egbers also works as a judge at competitions.

Wolfgang Egbers has been sitting on the board for 10 years in the National Association for professional riders (“Deutschen Reiter -und Fahrerverband”, DRFV e.V.) and also in the Commission of Dressage Judges (DRV).

In his education- and training programmes, Wolfgang Egbers focuses on dressage. He is schooling horses and riders up to Grand Prix level.
